Earlier, when Morgan had left to check which points she would use to the magic barrier for the camp, she noticed an unnatural disturbance in the wind. If she still remembered well her training with her master, that meant that the spirits of nature were moving, although she didn’t knew where nor why. When she returned to camp the tempers were not the best, but wasn’t like they could, with all that storm falling endlessly. She thought it was best not to ask unnecessary questions, and when Leo asked everyone to help him fix the deck, she did not question the sudden rush.
And now she was with her sawed-off shotgun with non-lethal rubber ammunition, aimed towards the face of Jason Grace, the bully praetor, demanding the withdraw of his offenses against her brothers at that moment, or she would be willing to put "non-lethal" to test, with point-blank shots.
- Apologize for the shit you said Grace, or I'll shoot you until you regret it!
- Settle down you two! - Piper ran, using all the charm she could focus at that time.

House of Hades - Chapter V - Reyna
It was a dark night with almost no stars in the sky. On the horizon, a simple gray band made it clear that they were close to a big city, in the case, New York. Long Island was a place incredibly beautiful and nice and even away from the beach you could feel the faintest scent of sea air. Inside the closed tent of the war meeting, Reyna would like to be able to think better about what they are discussing, but they had walked in circles in various subjects and advanced uselessly to exhaustion until dawn. The scouts returning gradually, timid, disappointed by a raid without results on the location of Camp Half-Blood. At the camp formed tents of perfectly homogeneous red and gold tissue, where banners fluttered majestically with the sea wind, the spirit you saw in the Roman soldiers was not exactly imposing or brave. They were tired from the long trip. Mentally tired of the long absence of tangible results.
When the last member of the council of war left the tent, everything Reyna wanted was sleep. She was at the forefront of the group that would attack Camp Half-Blood, along with his best demigods. However, each negative result of the scouts on the exact location of the campsite made the Praetor ask herself if the lack of results was not a sign from the gods to desist from that raid driven by revenge. She was ready to sleep when she heard a familiar voice from outside the tent, Samantha, the last of the scouts to return that night.

House of Hades - Chapter IV - Leo
Leo was living a brief internal dilemma: he didn’t know if he should broke down in despair and tears because of the stone that had sunk a piece of the deck of the Argo II, or if he should throw back the stone down there, or if he should activate the weapons or if he should maneuver the ship flying off the course of the new stones that stuck out on the horizon. Deciding that the safest and most obvious choice, he turned the ship around to starboard, having time just to shout to his friends hold on to something.
From the booth, Hazel, Jason and Piper emerged, trying to stay balanced on the deck that was now facing nearly 45°. Morgan slipped in the deck with the sharp turn, but she was hold to safety by Coach Hedge, who cast himself in the deck like a penguin in the snow, reaching the girl's hand and keeping both on board holding the rail. Leo made another maneuver, this time to port, almost knocking Nico (who had held the rail in time, but was almost caught off guard in the new turn).
- Valdez, you better decide or I'll shove these controls in your ...
- Stone on deck! - Morgan pulled the coach, also preventing him from continuing the sentence
- Jason, you can’t keep them away?! - Frank emerged, finally, but his shirt was stained with barbecue sauce and cheese
- Leave it to me!
- Admiral Leo, cannons! How do I operate?! - Morgan went up to the bridge of the ship, where Leo was
- Here, take this control and this sight! - He throw in the girl's hand a black control of Wii and a helmet
- How does it work?
- Aim and shoot!

Behind the blog - Chapter drawings
Hello fellow strangers
I have been recieving some e-mail lately from our loyal readers and everyone is asking a lot of interesting stuff. For example, where do we take the chapters drawings, how is the fanfic going, who writes what and so on. I though it would be nice to show a little of our backstage to you, so I'll be posting the "Behind the blog" series. This first post will be about our drawings and images, and for it I'll be counting with the help of Ghost Writer, our head Designer.
Koko - So, Ghost, people want to know: where these illustrations came from?
Ghost Writer - Well Koko, they all came from... erm... my hands? So to speak? ^^' Actually I drew all by myself.
K - Did anyone helped you?
GW - Only with their opinions. Specially Frank, which is always ready to help me out when I doubtfull about something related to the drawing.
K - That's nice. I also love the way the illustrations looks like, I mean. Halftone paterns and those precise lines... is it hard to make?
GW - Well, I could say "yes", but only when you're not used to finish drawings using the computer. Recently I made an upgrade on my PC so I would be able to use my favorite softwares more properly, both for my college and personal stuff. This makes things a lot easier.

House of Hades - Chapter III - Percy
When Percy aroused from his sleep, he was not yet accustomed to the darkness of the place, but he began to consider whether it had been such a good idea to wake up after all. He blinked his eyes a few times getting used to the pitch dark around him, putting the search for Annabeth immediately following, though he did not know where to start. By the way the two had fallen to Tartarus, she should not be too far away. He put his hand in his pocket and uncapped Riptide, the Bronze Celestial producing a slight brightness that at the moment was very welcome, and enough to see the daughter of Athena not far from him. He approached her in a hurry, not knowing how she didn’t have a bone out of place with the fall.
Annabeth didn’t seem to be much more hurt than she already was when he found her in the lair of Arachne. Carefully Percy left the sword aside and grabbed Annabeth, trying to make her drink a little canteen of nectar. Her face contorted and she awoke, coughing a bit of nectar.

House of Hades - Chapter II - Nico
When Nico closed his eyes and concentrated, calling Morgan in his thoughts, never came up to him that it would happen. But then all the weapons available in the Argo II were pointed at the girl and he realized that was probably a mistake to call a daughter of Hecate near the Roman demigods who handled much of the army of Kronos, unlike Percy which had faced only the crew of the Princess Andromeda; the already tense situation on the ship became even more tense with it.
It was... really a bad idea, ideal to cap the day's events.
- So, you know these guys?
- How do you know her?
- Do you know them?!
House of Hades - Chapter I - Jason
He sighed, rubbing his arms to ward off the almost freezing cold of the night, there above the clouds. By that time, everyone else was asleep, except for Leo, who seemed to have accepted as mission more than special his task to develop resources to rescue Annabeth and Percy from Tartarus. Since they had gotten rid of the last horde of flying monsters that had attacked the Argo II, he had returned to his room, looking to further study the scrolls of Archimedes.
From time to time, one or other sound drew his attention, but never was something important. A bored snap from Festus. The sound of the engines of the aircraft. The chains holding Athena Partenos in the improvised cargo in the stable. He heard a sound behind him and, this time, he saw it was just Nico. He leaned on the railing, tired. He was silent for some time, watching the horizon, with halfcrossed eyes.
- I'd love to say it's a good idea to follow up until the Epirus hill with this ship, but it is a bad idea.
Jason looked at him with a side glance.
- I know. We are very vulnerable, even though I have advantage in the sky.
- Not only that. We need to think of a surprise attack against the forces of Gaea, if we are to have any chance. We will draw a lot of attention in the air.
- The only problem is that on the ground, the advantage is her’s.
The two sighed without great ideas.
And then, Festus sounded the alarm.
